Madness & Memphis move into Hattiesburg

It definitely has been too long... However, my life was totally dominated by: Socrates, utilitarianism, morals, and media ethics. I officially shutdown everything for this test and did something that I usually do not do too much of... study. I simply had no choice, in this class: Media Ethics, we have a midterm, final, and two papers. So I'd say doing well on the tests is rather vital. The test went well, in case anyone was wondering... I only wrote for 50 minutes straight and five pages of notebook paper. So enough about Ethics garbage.

So today was pretty exciting. The #2 ranked Memphis Tigers came into Reed Green Coliseum and challenged Larry and the boys. So my morning began, with a call from David Beatty at 9:00 a.m. I headed toward the coliseum and got in line. I'm really not going to say too much about the situation, but the Southern Miss event coordinators really did a poor job with today's activities. I simply do not understand several of their policies. It was announced that the game was sold out on Wednesday or early Thursday and several of the cops and staff were shocked that so many students showed up to get in early. Okay.. Enough about that. With much stress, I finally made it into my normal seat...front row..student section. Thanks to Mrs. Norma.. for helping her Loonies out.

The game went well, and it really felt good to see Reed Green packed. Final score: 79-67..the bad guys. Man, does it get loud in there. However, the player of the game was Jeremy Wise. He really stepped up and played fantastic. Again, I challenge people to come to Reed Green and come to a few games....Okay all the games. However, I really do encourage people to buy some season tickets while you can.. Mr. Fedora spoke today at halftime and I have to say he is definitely MR. EXCITEMENT!! I really cannot wait until the fall and football season has made its way back to Hattiesburg.

Southern Miss to the Top

Till Next Time,
